4 Gift Shop  Sweatshirts  T shirts  snacks  Camp Store –  There is a small camp store which will be open after lunch and dinner in order to purchase drinks, snacks, and souvenirs. Students are responsible for bringing and keeping their own money.

7 Meal Time  Meals are served family and buffet style at our indoor/outdoor dining facility. Enjoy a fruit and cereal bar at breakfast and a salad bar at lunch and dinner to supplement a tasty main course.  Meals begin with lunch on the day of arrival all the way through lunch on departure day. Students have plenty to eat, and refills are always available. We ask that you do not bring any food to camp since it attracts animals and insects into your cabins and possibly into your luggage!

8 Chaperones  It is OK for you to bring a cell phones, but please use them privately when you are not involved in direct supervision of children.  Outlets for chargers are limited, and plugging cell phone chargers into bathroom outlets is unsafe and not allowed. Campers are allowed to use a phone only with permission from school staff and under the supervision of an adult chaperone.  If you need to bring medication please make sure that it is locked and not accessible to the campers. Also, food in the cabin area must be sealed and ant- proof. We do not allow open food to be eaten or stored in the cabins (you will appreciate this rule being followed)!

10 Technology iPhone, iPad & electronics  Parents are not on them in front of kids  Signed form to Homeroom teacher  Gavilan Peak is not responsible for lost, stolen, broken Missing Inappropriate use will result in a teacher taking the cell phone or iPad.

11 Traveling days  Departure:  Please bring breakfast with you on the bus (preferably quick bite foods, granola bars, pop tarts, bagel, donuts, breakfast bar, breakfast sandwich)  We will arrive by lunch time, but feel free to pack some packaged snacks and beverages  Return:  We will stop for dinner on the way back (fast food)  Please make sure your child saves money to buy food on the way back
