2 ABOUT DOLPHINS  members of the family Delphinidae.  They are carnivores, consuming mostly small fish, squid and shrimp as there food.  Can grow 10-14 feet  Weigh up to 1000 1bs  Very social and great communicators  Dolphins can be found swimming in all of the worlds major oceans though most species tend to prefer living in warmer climates

3 REASONS SPECIES IS ENDANGERED  Water pollution.  The construction of Dams.  Global warming.  Over hunting of Dolphins  Over-hunting of fish (lack of food for dolphins)  Increased numbers of captive dolphins.  Boats and Technology.

4 WHY MAKE AN EFFORT TO PROTECT DOLPHINS.  Dolphins are part of our food chain  If they go extinct it would create an imbalance in the ocean ecosystem and food chain.  This imbalance would eventually effect us as humans and cause an imbalance in our ecosystem as well.

5 HOW HUMANS CAN PROTECT DOLPHINS  Spreading awareness to your family and friends.  Donating to the hundreds of charities for dolphins.  Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.  Try to lower carbon your footprint.
