19 Enhancement Adding a tab to the IL page Adding a tab to the IL page –A tab will be added to the IL page that will capture more detailed contact information from the youth than is currently gathered on person management.

20 Enhancement Adding a tab to the IL page, cont’d Adding a tab to the IL page, cont’d –This information will be linked to and from a webpage for the youth or the youth and the worker to update the contact information. This webpage will have a unique login id for the youth to use to access the outcomes survey, prior to and after he/she exits placement. The outcomes survey will be used to meet the federal IL reporting requirements.

Adding a tab to the IL page, cont’d. –As described, there will be a link on the new IL tab that will lead the youth or the worker/youth to a webpage, containing the required outcomes survey. Either the youth will complete this with the worker, or the worker can give the link and user id to the youth so that the youth can complete the survey on their own.

22 Enhancement Next steps for IL services and outcomes reporting Next steps for IL services and outcomes reporting –The State will implement a website specific to IL youth. The website will be youth-friendly, will include the ability for youth to independently access their contact information and to complete the IL outcome survey at the age of 19 and 21, and contain state and local resource information.

23 Enhancement Ticklers Ticklers –There will be a new tickler reminding the primary worker to complete the 90 day transitional plan –There will be a new tickler reminding workers to complete the new IL tab with detailed contact information for the youth and the outcome survey within 45 days following the youth’s 17 th birthday.

The detail report contains basic demographic information, but also contains whether the child was referred for IL, and the date they were referred, if the assessment is complete and the date it was completed, whether the child is receiving IL services, and if they have goals and needs entered.

What impact does the end date have on data? –An end date must be listed if the service is no longer ongoing, or that service will be considered a current service in the reports. What case is the IL plan tied to? What case is the IL plan tied to? –If the child is in an open case, the plan will be tied to any case the child is listed as a participant in.

34 eWiSACWIS Frequently Asked Questions Who gets the ticklers? Who gets the ticklers? –The primary worker automatically gets the IL ticklers for the child. However, if the tickler needs to go to the IL worker, that can be done through Tickler Management.
