Discipline: Philosophy and Methodology of Science 7 During discipline study following topics are developed: Ancient philosophy in its connection with science Medieval Christian philosophy and its connection with science Modern age, birth of mathematized experimental nature The structure of empirical knowledge The structure of theoretical knowledge Logic and Methodology of Science Methods of scientific knowledge and their classification Scientific traditions and scientific revolution Types of scientific rationality Evolutionary-synergetic paradigm of modern science Scientific picture of the world. Philosophical foundation of science Formation and development of the philosophy of technology Technoscience and NBIC-technologies Environmental, social and humanitarian expertise of scientific and technical projects The problem of humanization of engineering education

Discipline: Protection of intellectual property and patenting 9 During discipline study following topics are developed: The concept of intellectual property Subjects of intellectual property rights The concept and importance of copyright The concept and value of patent rights International cooperation on registration and protection of copyright, to the objects of industrial intellectual property and means of individualization Transactions in copyright and patent law, including the official scientific works, computer programs and files, official subject of patent rights Violation of intellectual property rights and how to protect them in the civil, administrative, criminal law Protection of the rights of intellectual property in courts of general jurisdiction 1. Discipline: Stimulation of oil production and enhanced oil recovery 13 During studying the discipline following questions are considered: Systems of oil field development. New technologies as a factor in achieving competitive advantages of oil companies. Monitoring the condition of wells and performance of their operation. Hydrodynamic control of filtration properties of productive deposits. Methodical estimation aspects of innovative technologies economic efficiency for enhanced oil and gas. Evaluation of the wells geological and engineering operations. Technological parameters control of oil field development. Optimization of oil field development in the application of EOR methods. The development sequence of feasibility study for the introduction of new EOR methods. Problem aspects of the introduction new enhanced oil recovery methods in the oil fields development practice.

Discipline: Industrial and technological practice 14 Industrial and technological practice is aimed at: – consolidation and expansion of theoretical and practical knowledge gained during studying; – study of the structural features, condition, behavior and / or the functioning of specific technological processes; – the acquisition of professional competencies for the future professional activity or in its particular sections; – taking part in a specific production process or research; – learning of techniques, methods and ways of identifying, monitoring, measuring and controlling parameters of technological processes.
