5. Definition of Research Research is a systematic action, organized around a specific question / problem and the probable answer to this. The outcome of research could be a choice, a decision, a solution, a concept/notion, a principle, sometimes only a well-defined problem or hypothesis, an assumption.

Types of Research A.ORDINARY RESEARCH - finding solutions to everyday problems by realizing, questioning, informing, choosing, testing etc B.APPLIED SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH - programming and design in conceptual professions (engineering, management, didactics, etc) by documentation, selection of information, adaptation, evaluation. B’. ORIENTATIVE SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH - anticipation, prediction C. BASIC RESEARCH - professional activity specialized in the discovery of new scientific knowledge by academic studies, definition of problems, hypothesis wording and verification.
