5  ONLY FOLDERS in Gmail – All Mail & Trash  Archiving messages is moving a message into a filing cabinet instead of putting them in the trash.  If someone replies to a message that has been archived, it will reappear in your inbox.  New emails are automatically in your “ALL MAIL” folder but get labeled with INBOX.
