2 2 Background  Nigeria submitted its FNC in Nov. 2003  In accordance with the UNFCCC Guidelines on the preparation o National Communication, Nigeria’s FNC contents include: -Executive Summary -National Circumstances -GHG Inventory -Mitigation Options -Climate Change Scenario -Impacts, Vulnerability Assessment and Adaptation Strategies -Research and Systematic Observations -Sustainable Development and Integrated Planning -Project Proposals for Climate Change Studies -Annexes -References.
