5 Celebrating Christmas Early before surgery 18 Dec 2004

6 After Surgery Dec 20 - Tumor resection 3 hour case - no nephrectomy or vessel involvement

7 He slept through Robin Williams’ annual visit to UCSF

8 We began tracking progress/problems.... Transferred to PICU for 30 hours, then after 3 days…...

9 We found the cause after correct counts, xrays and lots of strife

10 Dec 23, before removal - The lap sponge was making him extremely sick

11 Feeling Better - 24 Dec - Discharged Home on 28 Dec We let him remove his own NG

12 In February 2005 Thomas spent the month having a stem cell transplant. Thomas is now enjoying Kindergarten - he’ll be turning 6 in February 2009.
