Each partner – local law enforcement & local businesses need to communicate their competencies as well as their willingness ( or not!) to collaborate on emerging workplace threats; not just traditionally respond to workplace violence in progress. Successful communications (or Not!) with local law enforcement must be understood in order to create realistic workplace violence prevention policies to protect employees and company assets.
