POLICIES Grading – Writing/Editing/Revising (50%) – Tests/Projects/Quizzes (15%) – Classwork (participation and preparedness included) (20%) – Homework (15%) Accomplishing homework and classwork consistently is the only reason a grade “bump” may ever be given. No extra credit assignments will be given. Late work – Late homework will not be accepted. By the time a student completes the tardy assignment the class will have gone over it and will be falling behind even more. Projects and essays will have a 10% deduction for every day that it is past the due date. Once the deduction reaches 60%, it will fall to a 0.
