6 Why It’s Important One day, you will be looking for a job. You’ll want to know where to look for information about job openings.

7 Gathering Leads Once you have an idea of what you want to do, you can take the next step and start your job search. To apply for some jobs, you’ll need a work permit. (Under age 16)

A large part of a job search is detective work-tracking down leads, clues, and evidence. Your search for the right job will begin with a job lead. A job lead is information about a job opening.
