6 What is 4H4ME? Web-based companion to 4HPlus – data is synchronized with county 4HPlus data Must be used in combination with 4HPlus – does not replace 4HPlus Offers the option for on-line access to 4-H enrollment data for members, leaders, and staff 6

7 Data Security Data is stored on a secure server Data is retrieved and pages are created “on the fly” as users navigate the site Data does not exist on the server in a readable format Members, leaders and staff access information with their own username and password 7

11 Available Staff Features Search for specific members and leaders by project, first or last name, or city View quick stats for county Upload files, documents, and photos for one or more clubs Print basic reports and labels for clubs and projects 11

12 Available Staff Features View or change member and leader: - contact information - club, project, and achievement information Add/delete clubs Coming: - enter new member/leader enrollments - post information about 4-H events and accept on-line registrations 12

16 Locally Determined Options “View only” for members and leaders “View/edit” personal information “View/edit” clubs, projects, and achievements (with separate choices for each) Coming: - on-line enrollment or re-enrollment - on-line registration for 4-H events 16

17 Next Steps 19 counties have already decided to implement 4H4ME this year An additional 23 counties are considering implementing this year A 4H4ME “Tour” is available for download today - the tour will enable the user to log into a test database as a 4-H member, leader and staff member to take a look at the 4H4ME features 17

18 Next Steps Additional counties that would like to implement 4H4ME this year should e-mail Mike Farrey no later than June 26 Hands-on technical training sessions will be scheduled for participating counties – sessions will be announced in early July Participating counties will upload their county data during the training sessions and practice using 4H4ME features 18

19 Future Plans Additional opportunities to participate in 4H4ME for counties not opting to participate at this time Additional enhancements in 4H4ME as more states begin actively using this on-line system 19
