3. 3 Direct attention to quality The Centre for Quality of Studies has been established (2002 ). The main areas of activity: Research on quality issues, Quality initiatives within the university, Consultancy within the organization, Dissemination of experience.

5. 5 Strategy development (2006) 32 work groups have been involved into development of the VMU Strategy (2007- 2012).  The group for Assurance of Quality of Studies is one among them. 250 means are planned in the strategy implementation plan.  88 among them – actions directly related with improvement of studies. Responsibility for implementation of the strategy is shared among all faculties and departments.
