Typical Day Veterinarians often work long hours. Groups of them will take turns to be on call during the day. Veterinarians that take care of big animals spend a long time driving to get the animal and bring it back the office.

Background Info When I was little I just like to be around animals and always wanted to help animals that were hurt.

Education Path Way degree in Veterinary Medicine and a license to practice It is a challenge to get into vet school 12 years of collage to become a vet

Salary/Future Out Look In may 2008 vets got paid $89,450 yearly There were 59700 jobs for vets in 2008 There will always be jobs because people love there animals

Working Conditions It is a really clean place a lot of blood tests Being able to help animals with broken limbs Smelly, dirty
