Teacher Proficiency Requirements Your Path To Proficiency 1.Assessment: Take the technology proficiency assessment. 2.Professional Development Workshops: View targeted professional development based on the assessment results (yearly requirement). 3.Renewal Credits: Upload either one 45-hr graduate or recertification course in technology or 60 renewal credits in technology during the certification validity period (every 5 years) 4.Portfolio: Upload portfolio documentation based on your technology level (Developing or Mastery). All proficient staff must successfully complete a Mastery Level Portfolio.

Home Page Taking an Assessment Click on the Assessment Icon to take your assessment. If you score 80% or higher on the assessment, you will complete a mastery level portfolio. If you score less than 80%, you will complete a developing level portfolio.

Home Page Professional Dev. Workshops Click on the Professional Development Workshops Icon to receive professional development based on your technology assessment.

Home Page Portfolios Accountability is built into the system in the form of customizable ePortfolios. All teachers will complete an ePortfolio based on their technology ability level. Click on the Portfolio icon to view portfolio requirements

Portfolios The portfolio page will provide a summary and a detailed description of the portfolio. Users can upload portfolio documents.

Portfolio Requirements for Special Users Administrators, Counselors, Media Specialists, and Special Needs Teachers will have different portfolio requirements.

Updating Contact Information Click on the My Profile Tab (top of page) to change or update any of your information

Help and Resource Page The Help and Resource Page provides access to portfolio requirements, lesson templates, training PowerPoint, and portfolio rubrics
