1) Phase II data publications --Over sixteen peer-reviewed publications since this time last year --Eighteen conference posters and presentations --Phase II data being put into the BIRN Data Repository 2) Traveling Subjects, WCTS --Finished; clinical data in the UCI HID; imaging data on gridfTP --preprocessed data in /home/Projects/FBIRNSubject2007TW__0051/Data/WCTS- analysis.tgz 3) FBIRN Integrated Toolkit (FIRE) Major revisions to work with the new gridFTP intrastructure Clinical tablet developments 4) Preparations for Phase III study Pilot runs at UCI, UCSF, UNM/MIND, Duke/UNC, Minn, UCLA, IA… Where we were: Top Priorities 2009

Where we are: Top Priorities 2010 Recommendations to the field Image QA methods and tools Calibrations/data collection methods and tools Analysis methods and tools Data sharing recommendations/tools Full integration with the gridFTP/RLS infrastructure Final testing step: Multi-site clinical study Calibration, Cognitive protocol, Clinical protocol Data QA, sharing, publication tools within FBIRN Data curation and publication in the BDR

The Current Vision Mediated query across databases this past March:

Multi-Site User Query Data Provenance Information Derived Data Processing FIPS Results FMRI/MRI Images Processing Pipelines HIDB(s) Local Data Grid Local fMRI Scanner Clinical Data Input FBIRN Neuroinformatics Vision DICOM, NIFTI The original vision is subsumed by the larger vision… NEW this year

FBIRN goals for this meeting: Summarize what we know to finish Phase III Training in Phase III data collection for reduced intersite variability Evaluate the Phase III protocol so far Coordinate FIRE preparation and data uploads with the new infrastructure

How we do it: Today’s Agenda Until 10 am: Working Group progress reports Cognitive Calibration NI WG Stats 10 am to noon: Everything you needed to know about Phase III (but were afraid to ask) Pre imaging data collection Agar phantom methods (Bryon) Clinical tablet/HID interactions (Jeremy) Imaging data collection (combination of Bryon, Jess, Judy, Jim, etc) Data QA and analysis: What is automatic and what needs to be personally checked (and by whom)? Data upload, QA, and schematron (Syam) Data upload interactions with the HID and how to make that work (Dingying, Jeremy, NI WG) Data review and dissemination pipeline (Doug, Greg B, Jerod, and others)

How we do it: Today’s Agenda 1:15Mediated query demo: We need your feedback 1:30 to 4: Phase III protocol issues: Can we make it work in under 2 hours?

How we do it: Today’s Agenda 1:15Mediated query demo: We need your feedback 1:30 to 4: Phase III protocol issues: Can we make it work in under 2 hours? 1:30 – 2:30 The data so far Review of 7 runs of the new task vs fewer (fMRI and behavior): Doug, Jim, others who have analyzed the data Behavioral data analyses on the new task: Greg M, Jim Image QA on data to date (Greg B? Bryon?) 2:45 – 4 pm Horse trading as needed--everyone who has tried the protocol needs to know how long it all takes and what subjects' experiences with it has been; what are our FBIRN priorities and how do we achieve them in this protocol?
