4 INTERACTION - an action that occurs as two or more objects have an effect upon one another. All systems are related and interdependent. Every action has a consequence. DIFFERENT TYPES OF INTERACTION *INFORMAL INTERACTION WITH PEOPLE This type of interaction is applied in our daily interaction with other people like our friend and family. We use any language as long as we can understand each other.

5 *FORMAL INTERACTION WITH PEOPLE We interact with other people where we have to consider the use of formal language. This type of interaction usually takes place in formal settings like executive meetings, seminars and interviews. * INTERACTION THROUGH TECHNOLOGY The type of interaction is not the usual way of a face to face interaction, thus we can interact with other people in different from different places using technology like computers and mobile phones.

6 *INTERACTION WITH NATURE Interaction with nature is simply by being sensitive to what is happening and will still happen to our ecosystem. Caring our natural resources is an example of interacting with nature. *INTERACTION WITH IDEAS: A SELF TALK Interaction with ideas pertains to the feedback or reaction a speaker or receiver can give to an idea or opinion. Giving a comment, criticism, or a response to your own idea or ideas of others is an example of interaction with Ideas.

7 * NON-VERBAL INTERACTION We can interact with other people through gestures, body movements, and facial expressions. * REDUCING LANGUAGE BARRIERS Unity in diversity use of cohesive devices and employment of correct coordination and subordination of ideas.

8 *LANGUAGE OF POWER Language is one of the most important areas of human development. Our communication skills set us apart from the rest of the animal kingdom, and they're also what brings us together with each other. *A CROSS- CULTURAL PERSPECTIVE -“It is no longer towards division and difference that we should turn our minds, but on unity, union, even oneness necessary for the pursuit and realization of a common ideal…”

9 COMMENTARY  The presentation of group one is very bubbly. They were able to capture the interest of the audience however we can not understand some of the words used.- group two  The presentation of group two is serious because they use formal words which make the presentation boring.- group one

10 INTERACTION FORMAL We use formal language when we are interacting with others. Usually we apply this when we are having meeting, interviews and in formal occasion. It is relevant in schools,offices business firm.We use it when we are talking with professionals,politician etc. INFORMAL We use any language in interacting as long as both of us can understand the language. Usually we apply this when we are expressing our ideas and conveying personal messages.It is relevant at home in malls,clubs and park. We use it when we are talking with our family and friends.

11 THE RETURN TO ENGLISH CERGE M. REMONDE  The article express about the return of English language as a medium of instruction in schools.  Some were opposing the order of our president to the return of English Language.  Many Filipinos believe that it loosens the essence of being nationalistic.

12  It will not be less nationalistic of Filipinos to be proficient in English for as long as they had the interest of the country foremost in their hearts.  The editorial is written in an optimistic manner because it gives light to its result.  The writer is very glad believing that it is a stepping stone for us.  In the meantime, let us support the move of the president. In a globalizing economy, it is the step in a right direction.

13 Situation TThese wise persons believe that population growth is very dangerous and is a very serious problem. Problem TThey are still debating if there is a need for us to lower our population growth because some believe that growing population growth can be the greatest economic resources.

14 Solution PPopulation is one factor of economic success, if many people will be working it will be an excellent picture of future. However some are saying that we remain poor if we will not insist birth limitation, coming to think that without the sallary of our ofws who work abroad our economy would have been in worse difficulties as what we are expecting.

15 INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY -The different ways how information can be handled by electronics. With the help of technology life is easier and faster.

16 TECHNOLOGIES IN EVERYDAY LIVING

17 HAD THERE BEEN NO TECHNOLOGY:  The world will remain stagnant when it comes to economic aspect because it is difficult for people to negotiate.  We have limited sources of information.  It would be difficult to establish business.  It is would be difficult to communicate with people in other countries.

18 KNOWWANT TO KNOW LEARNED  Information technology is growing rapidly.  Technology makes communication easier and faster.  We can gather all information we want through the help of technology.  What is the advantage of information technology to different professionals?  How can technology organize information in different ways?  Through the use of technology teachers can get varied information to plan their lessons. Engineers can get information about materials needed in building infrastructures. Doctors can get more detailed information about diseases.  It is a combination of computers to organize and store information.  It enables us to store vast amount of information in small space.
