-If the thing that the person likes is plural use GUSTAN Me gustan las pizzas. Me gustan los carros. Me gustan los animales. ***Notice the use of the definite articles los or las with the verb GUSTAR***

In general, the rules for choosing GUSTA or GUSTAN are: GUSTAGUSTAN  One single object  One plural object  More than one object or more than one more than one plural object plural object

When conjugating GUSTAR, use the following indefinite article pronouns to tell who likes something. I like We like You like Y’all like (informal) He/She/It/You like(s) They like You all like You all like Me gusta(n) Te gusta(n) Le gusta(n) Nos gusta(n) Os gusta(n) Les gusta(n)

If you do not like something, place “NO” before the pronoun. When answering a direct question, use “NO” twice. No me gusta la fruta. I do not like fruit. ¿Te gusta la limonada? No, no me gusta la limonada. (No, I don’t like lemonade.)

To ask why someone likes something, use “ To ask why someone likes something, use “¿Por qué?” (why?). To answer use “porque” (because). ¿Por qué te gusta el helado? Me gusta porque es delicioso. (I like it because it’s declicious.)
