3  Angst (Noun): a feeling of deep anxiety or dread, typically an unfocused one about the human condition or the state of the world in general. Synonyms: anxiety, fear, apprehension, worry, foreboding, trepidation, malaise, disquiet, disquietude, unease, uneasiness  Teen Angst: The feeling of deep anxiety or dread that teenagers have.

7  What is Mind Mapping? Visual and Textual Note-Taking  Why do we use it? When you connect the visual to the textual, research proves that you remember.  What does it look like? There’s no right or wrong. You find what works for you, but combine visual and textual ways of noting your information.

14  For each chapter, you’ll be creating a mind map that helps you note the key ideas, themes, character moments, quotes, etc.  You will have some required info, which will be given to you. The rest will be up to you to fill in the blanks.  You will turn in all of your mind maps at the end of the book for your reading grade.
