2. The Trigmen Newsletter The club would just like to take this opportunity to apologise to Disney. As a branch of our old site, the manager was making a personal site, out-with the hubbub of football. However, whilst making a page of his site towards The Lion King, one of the pictures he used for the page breeched Disney’s copyright rules and so Tripod had no option but to close both his website and The Official Trigmen Site. Instead, he has created a new site, where our fans have the option of downloading this newsletter. It will possess exactly the same news and articles but in a slightly different form. All our fans need to do is go to the site every week or so and download the most recent version of the newsletter, free of charge, and read away. This just means if the site is shut down again, then we have all the news still on our database – Clever or what?

News 27-10-04 Nuir Drafted In Many months ago, a large percentage of the club’s profits were invested in a youth development programme which would offer the youngsters at the club the chance to develop into first-team regulars. Little has been seen from this scheme; until now. 19-year-old midfielder, Matthew MacNuir has been drafted in after coach, Ryan MacNamell clamed him to be the hottest prospect at the club. Smiles All Round: Matthew 27-10-04 “Market Too Tough” Adam ‘The Trigman’ Wilson has brought in two new faces since the start of the new season, namely Thorsten Falke and Gary Patzer. However, the gaffer has always said he needs more. “A club is always growing, and we want this one to grow too. In order for a club to grow, it needs more players – simple as that”. He continued, “This is getting very difficult though as too many clubs are just splashing the cash – something we can’t do at the moment. The market is simply too tough and competitive just now.

6. Press Conferences 01-10-2004 This season was nothing short of disastrous. A newly promoted side rarely gets promoted in a consecutive season but we won the league last season so spectacularly, I thought we could have at least stayed up, but obviously not. I know the players are as upset as I am. They agree that winning a solitary point from 14 games is simply unacceptable. Although we lost the season in the fashion that we did, I don't feel I need to apologize to anybody. The board back me in that although we received relegation along with some hefty defeats, I feel we played very stylish and flairful football at times and were unlucky in many games. We managed a draw against EK in mid-season, which I felt was a very good result but we deserved to win. Some other narrow defeats, I felt we had the skill to succeed. However this season has been and gone and the sooner we brush it under the carpet, the better. We must concentrate on the season ahead. We are now in League Division 5. We have been there before and won it well, so we clearly have the skill to have another stab at Division 4. No disrespect to the other teams - all very good sides - but we definitely have the squad to succeed and become the team we know so well. But once again, we must all come together and stand united, and if we do that, never mind Division 4 - we'll be hitting Division 1… Enjoy!

8. Honours Season 1 The Trigmen’s first season in a competitive league. A strong and convincing battle from the young lads, however, credit to the other teams for putting up a good fight. An excellent season and firm start to the club’s history. Some great performances left us a close second in the league. Very proud of the players but sadly, no silverware. Season 2 An even better season than last. Every team, including ourselves had improved dramatically and this lead to one of the closest leagues in Scotland! But this club fought harder than ever before and in the end, were rewarded the Division 5 Champions. Season 3 This year was nothing short of disastrous! The club sadly only managed to gain, an albeit deserved, one point all season! A draw with EK arguably kept the manager from getting the sack there and then. The club were relegated back to division 5 and the manager was given one more season to get the team back in order… Scottish Division 5 Trophy
