2 Why do you play Lacrosse for Scotland Im addicted to the team ethic working to a central goal. Im addicted to the competition. I want to pitch myself against the best in the world at the sport I love. I get very emotional singing the anthem in my Scotland kit. Team sport – playing with others / working together. Love playing, exciting, pride. A challenge. My Team mates To play for my country, at the highest level possible is a great feeling. To play the best lacrosse I can. If youre going to do something you may as well do it well!! Enjoyment, pride – I love playing! To keep fit with a team for motivation, to meet new people. Fun, rewarding, challenging experiences. To see what I can achieve. Good past time – this is the best team, Ive ever felt part of! PRIDE! Ambition – to be the best I can. Representing your country is the highest achievement and one to be proud of! I feel empowered! Its an amazing feeling – playing in a great squad, being fit, technically skilled, representing you country and having fun with friends. To represent my Country through a sport I love – it makes me feel proud, fit, happy. To work in a team with my friends. Pride and privileged to be given this opportunity and I want to keep that for as long as possible. Pride – playing for Scotland. I love the game and the feeling when the team plays amazing. Makes me feel like part of a successful team – gives my training a strong purpose. PRIDE – in my team, in my Country, in myself

3 Why do you play lacrosse for Scotland I love it! Proud to represent Scotland. I love the competition and the thrill and excitement of a match. I love playing in a team with my friends. To get the most out of a sport I love and push myself to see how far I can go / what I can achieve. Fun, fun people, exercise and fitness. Pride in representing my Country with friends who have your back no matter what. I want to play the best standard of Lacrosse thats available to me and so that I can feel proud about representing my country. Ambition – represents my ultimate aim. I play because – I want to play Lacrosse at a high level; I love playing against England and top level teams; I love getting the kit; it makes me feel proud. I play for Scotland because – I want to play more lacrosse at a high level and take my game to the next level. I like to play for such a patriotic Country. It makes me feel proud to play against people who have the fitness and skills. To be the best player I can and play at the highest level. Pride in representing Scotland. The friendships made, sharing the same passion and commitment. I play lacrosse for Scotland because I want to play at the highest standard possible and it gives me something to work towards and so helping me improve my game.
