7 WHY ? There has been no incentive for our older playing children to remain at the club. There has been no incentive for our older playing children to remain at the club. No incentive for parental involvement in club because they see it as short term involvement for their child. Unless new players come to the club and bring with them parents who are experienced and they can see a future for their kids in the club, we can’t change this situation. 8 The Way forward No need for our players to leave our club in order to continue their career. No longer will Peninsula Soccer Club be a grooming ground for other clubs to reap the benefit of their hard work. The players themselves will create their own history.

9 The first step The introduction of the Bayside Seniors has given this club a massive boost. Younger players now see the seniors play on a Sunday and the impact has been massive. 15 Will We Ever Without the cricket club vacating Delacombe Park and cricket pitches being removed our grounds will not be deemed suitable. Our current change room / pavilions will also not meet the required FFV standards. Without the massive injection of funds this will not be rectified.

18 Why? Frankston Strikers is the most viable entity in our area to join with us in this future direction. 19 Frankston Strikers Soccer Club Frankston Strikers Soccer Club was formed in December 1993 with the amalgamation of 25 year old Karingal United Soccer Club and 6 year old Frankston United Soccer Club and Frankston United Junior Soccer Club Promotion from Division 4 in 1994 to State League Division 3 in 1995 where they finished the season very strongly in 3rd position. Won the 1996 Division 3 Premiership and finished third in Division 2 in 1997 5th in Division 2 in 1998 and fourth in Division 2 in 1999 1st in Division 2 in 2000 11th in Division 1 in 2001 and relegated 8th Division 2 South-East in 2002 4th Division 2 South-East 2003 11th Division 2 South-East 2004 and relegated and Division 3 South East 2005
