6 SCENE STUDY: 60 – 64 (Narrator, John, Elizabeth, Hale) 1. Why does Rev. Hale come to the Proctor’s home? What does this scene reveal about Hale’s role in the trial? 2. Which of the Ten Commandments does Proctor forget? How is this ironic? What’s significant about the way Elizabeth reminds him of that Commandment? 3. How does this scene connect to the two Anne Bradstreet poems we read yesterday?
