(Since Early November 2010) STWG Vision Statement updated to address sustainability in more of a holistic manner –Consider the entire triple bottom line –“The ability of transportation technologies, operations strategies, and vehicle improvements to simultaneously promote and enhance economic sustainability, social sustainability, and environmental sustainability.” Also address issues that are unique to environmental sustainability –Support adaptation measures in response to a changing climate –Measures and practices that transportation organizations can use to help reduce their respective carbon footprints.
