2. First of all, it can affect you in the future when you apply for college or university. Such as when they look at your digital footprint, they can find things, like pictures from when you were young, inappropriate pictures, and video of you doing stuff that you shouldn’t do. There was an issue when a man who was trying to get into a college as a girl. There was party for a celebration for graduating high school. And that man was there drinking and posted himself dirking more than five can of beer. The girl’s mother went to the girl’s Facebook on her phone and found that picture of him drinking. The mother sent a e-mail to the principal and made sure that he won’t be attending college or university. As a result he couldn’t attend to any college or university because of that one issue. When you do something dumb and you think no one will know, you are wrong, because there are many people who has social media account and might take photo of you then posted it and make you in trouble that you aren’t allowed in any school.

3. Second of all, if you want to apply for a job, they will look for the same things (as college or university) plus much more details to make sure that they didn’t make a mistake of hiring you. They will be looking for if you have worked before but got fired, if you have been paying taxes, and if you have done drugs before. These can affect you for the rest of the life. In one part of the Washington, there was and adult who has mastered advanced calculus and was looking for a job. He went to offices, government jobs, but couldn’t get any jobs. The reason was in the past, when he was in high school, he had a fist fight and made that kid hurt. He had to pay 1,200,000 dollars to that kid who got hurt. As a result, you should think before you do something wrong.

4.  You can protect yourself by first don’t start social media like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and etc. If you don’t start that you won’t need to be aware of one extra thing.  If you already have an account, make sure that you don’t do selfie or take photo of someone because you also don’t want anyone to take a photo of you and be posted on the internet.  You can also don’t do dumb stuff. Like when you are in public, you don’t start a fight or robe a bank and get caught by cops, then go to jail. At school, make sure you don’t get detention because you have done something you should not do. All these small things will affect your life because it will always be with you no matter what.  You shouldn’t do stuff that can put you in trouble in the future. Such as getting expelled from school, bullying and causing pain to others for no reason

5. - The Digital Footprint will affect you when you apply for college, university, and jobs. They would look for you on internet, what have you done in the past if you have done anything bad, had a job but just got fired, have done drugs, and so on so forth. - The digital footprint will follow you until you died, actually even when you die. It starts when you are born then forever. - So it is important to keep a clean sheet to have a good life. This includes social media too. - You might post something bad and get caught posting those pictures or video. So it is really important that you keep your digital footprint clean or else it will affect you in the future.

6. Didn’t find anything of myself. That means I am doing a good job making my digital footprint clean. As a result, I think I will do well in life. But I might be seen on some sites because of: - Soccer tournament - School activity - Track and Field
