1 DISTRICT GRANT APPLICATIONS

2 NICARAGUA WATER PROJECT How our club got involved:  Potters for Peace visits local clubs.  Fernandina, Amelia Island Sunrise, Ponte Vedra Beach, and St. Augustine.  Our club wanted an international project.

3 NICARAGUA WATER PROJECT Preparing application:  Idea of the scope of the project.  Approved expenses for Rotary funding.  Local Rotary clubs’ involvement.  NGOs/ In-country Rotary clubs.  Progress & final reports.

4 HAITI District focus this year is Haiti. President Art Shuster – already working with Canaan Orphanage. Talk to your fellow Rotarians about projects. Grant application for discovery trip/ supplies/project.

5 GETTING IDEAS FOR PROJECTS & JOINT CLUB INVOLVEMENT Before needing a grant, you need a project! Attend Rotary functions & support other club’s fundraising events. Get involved in an ongoing project. Ask/invite other clubs to join in.
