6 What I learned from this book… Middle school is the most pivotal time in brain development for children. How to effectively use multiple intelligences to engage students into a lesson. Differentiating instruction to keep students interested. Rehearsing information can cause inaccurate information to permanently be stored. It has to be right. I’ve been practicing all day! Behaviors always have a reason!

7 In the book, Meet Me in the Middle, I felt as though Rick Wormeli did a great job explaining the inner beings of middle school students. Over his many years teaching, he has developed a deep connection with this age group, and has a variety of ideas to help teachers new to middle school, become effective and engaging teachers.
