Factors to take into account Now…  Jobs and workers are broadly in balance  High %age (63%) of working residents both live and work in District  Limited funding for new infrastructure But…  Trends are to a declining/ ageing population/ increasing ethnic proportion of population  A decline in local labour supply  Growth in households  Growth in jobs predicted  Housing needs are not being met

Mixed use?  Employment land release - will plan for some - but need to retain mixed supply
