2. Homework Homework is to be finished before you enter the room. “I did not get it”, is not an acceptable answer. If you do your homework every night I can almost guarantee that you will receive an A or a B. You are all brilliant or you would not be here, but in this class even the brilliant must work to succeed. Show your work! No work no points!

7. When I ask questions it is not to torment you, but to help your brain grow. Only the person asked can answer, do not steal there dendrites.

8. Mastery Will be offered at lunch 2 days after the exam and it will be the average of the two exams. Mastery is a gift. If you are absent you will only be taking the mastery exam.

9. Labs You will be safe (goggles) In groups of four each student will list their contribution and all grades are individual Portfolios (binder with index). This will be turned in at the end of the year.

10. Find a study partner Study for tests with one other partner. This is a method I used all of the way through graduate school. It cuts way down on study time and will get you much better grades. Study groups never work. Never come to a test, “Kind of knowing” the material. Start right in the beginning and stick to it.
