2. Flow of Energy In Ecosystems Energy comes from the sun to enter through living things. After the energy comes from the sun and enters through photosynthesis which is by bacteria. theyre are 2 types of organisms that have direct access to the energy. herbivores feed on the plant while the plant is alive Decomposers feed on the dead plants. In some ecosystems the majority of energy goes to the Decomposers.

3. Trophic Levels in the Ecosystem the energy is transferred through trophic levels through food webs. when an animal feeds off of a certain thing it loses heat. During respiration energy is lost. when the trophic level goes up the more energy it loses.
