(write the question on the left, answer on the right on your warm up sheet for the “Friday” box.) ** you have about 3 minutes to answer and turn in to the basket on top of the computer when directed. 2 The Plan for the day… Objective: The Learner will (TLW) familiarize him/herself with procedures, including the lab. Demonstration of Learning (DOL): The Learner will (TLW) list 5 specific procedures on the exit. Depth of Knowledge: 1 (how hard will you think on a scale of 1-4)

3 Cornell Notes: Let’s do it!!! Title: Going to the LAB Objective: The Learner will (TLW) familiarize him/herself with procedures, including the lab. Demonstration of Learning (DOL): The Learner will (TLW) list 5 specific procedures on the exit. Depth of Knowledge: 1 How do we get there? What do we do once we get there? Line leader 6 inch voices Marshmallows Know where you are going…which lab? Check the sign…  Log in: Know your password (today this info is free- after this, it costs you)  No food or drink (candy counts)  Leave it better than you found it  Class rules apply. (NO personal electronic devices!)  Go to Coronado website, “teacher websites” on left; JOHNSON, check out the calendar (tab on left)- no password required!!

5 While in the lab: Take some notes… Write down three questions you have about class. Objective: The Learner will (TLW) familiarize him/herself with procedures, including the lab. Demonstration of Learning (DOL): The Learner will (TLW) list 5 specific procedures on the exit. Depth of Knowledge: 1 Look at syllabus, OURS poster, guidelines and the calendar. Take notes on items that you want to remember as well as those that answer your questions.

6 Exit: Turn in on your way out, have a great weekend!!! 1. What is the picture on the website? 2. One rule for getting to the lab. 3. Where will you keep YOUR password to logon? 4. Where should you turn in work? 5. How many warnings about electronic devices do you get? Objective: The Learner will (TLW) familiarize him/herself with procedures, including the lab. 7 Warm Up if needed In a group of no more than four, no less than 3, take your primary source set and organize them in chronological order. (What is chronological order?) Objective: The Learner will (TLW) organize events chronologically. Demonstration of Learning (DOL): The Learner will (TLW) create a timeline with 5 events from world history that occurred during his/her lifetime using primary sources.

8 Exit on “exit” side of yellow sheet: Demonstration of Learning Write “Create a timeline with 5 events from the world during your lifetime” on the left-hand side of the “Wednesday” box. Create the timeline on the right-hand side. Objective: The Learner will (TLW) organize events chronologically. Demonstration of Learning (DOL): The Learner will (TLW) create a timeline with 5 events from world history that occurred during his/her lifetime using primary sources.
