2 A phrase cannot be used as a complete sentence.

3 On its own, why is a subordinate clause a sentence fragment?
Although a subordinate clause contains a subject and a verb, it has one word that hints at a question which is left unanswered. It doesn’t make sense alone.

4 The moon shines through my window unfortunately it’s brightness keeps me awake.

Listening to music.

6 Listening to music is my favorite thing to do.
