8 How Do We Farm the Client As a small business there are some very cost effective ways of farming your base. 1.Visit: Visit your potential clients and established clients on a regular basis. Have something to talk about and be prepared. What can you help them with. 2.Newsletter: A regular newsletter will keep you in touch and can introduce new products or services. Not though as effective as in “person”. 3.Direct Mail: As antiquated as it sounds, businesses are looking for value and direct mail can communicate the value of your service or goods. 4.Networking: Treat networking as a friend that you haven’t seen in sometime. Each needs to be assessed afterwards and immediate follow-up is the key. 5.Referrals: From you personal sphere to business sphere, consider each a potential referral. Do not discount anyone!

Ask them to bring along their associates. Golf competitions, work dinners, charity functions. The options are limitless and restricted only by your imagination or budget. 8.Whatever your budget, it makes absolute business sense to farm your potential and existing client base.

10 How Do We Farm the Client  If you don’t have a plan, then take the time and start mapping out which prospects you will see first.  Tackle the ones that present the most viable connection to what you do…first., then map out the hard to reach and challenging prospects.  If you need, prioritize them in dollar terms, those who spend the most should command more of your time.

It’s a game of numbers.

You will have to activate the listing by following the instructions mentioned in the same. 4. You should have the complete authority to market the particular product or business. 5. Though the listings will be done within 2 working days, they will appear on the Internet only after 1-2 weeks (after admin approval).
