3.  I will provide you with an in-class duotang for your journal writing.  These responses will be shared in class.  Sometimes, I will respond to your entries.  You also need a PERSONAL journal. This is different. Perhaps you have one at home already. This journal is for your eyes ONLY!

4.  You will also be given an opportunity for independent reading. Please have your literature with you at all times.

Why do people read? List as many reasons as you can think of. What does someone have to do or know in order to be a good reader? What kinds of books do you like to read?
