2 Part 3 4 minutes (5 minutes for groups of three) Popular sports Now, I’d like you to talk about something together for about two minutes (3 minutes for groups of three). People enjoy doing sports for many different reasons. Here are some examples of popular sports, and a question for you to discuss. First you have some time to look at the task. Now, talk to each other about why people choose to do these different sports. Now you have about a minute to decide which sport would be the most difficult to do well. I’d like you to imagine that a friend is going to travel around the world for six months. Here are some of the things he or she might have problems with, and a question for you to discuss. First you have some time to look at the task. Now, talk to each other about the problems he or she might have. Now you have about a minute to decide what he or she could do to avoid these problems.
