2. I have two rooms on the East side of the house and six rooms on the South side of the house. My family room is on the North side of the house and the dinning room/Kitchen is on the North side as well. The bathroom, toilet, study and laundry are on the South side. The lounge, garage and kids area is on the South side too. Three bedrooms on the west side. Thirteen rooms altogether. Rooms

3. I have 12 windows altogether in my house. Large windows are on the North side and medium windows are on the East side. Small windows or no windows are on the South and East side. All my windows are double glazed. Windows

4. My house has underground heating every where. Underground heating is when cold water comes out of the house and gets the warmth from the earth and then warm water comes back into the house. I have fans in the bedrooms and Evaporative cooling in the family area and kids area. Heating and cooling

5.  I use town water for everything in my house but except for my garden, toilet and washing machine. I collect rain water in a tank. Town water comes from bores and local rivers. Water

6.  My electricity comes from solar panels on my roof and I use coal from a power station. I use my solar panels in the day time and I use coal from a power station in the night time. Electricity

7. In my house I have used pink batts for my roof. I used wool for my walls. My pink batts are man made and my wool is natural. Insulation

8. My house roof is made of metal. The walls of my house are made of bricks. My floors are made of smooth wood and my windows are made out of glass. In the bedrooms there is carpet. Building materials

9.  I give all my food scraps to the chickens and I use bins for everything else. The yellow bin is the recycling bin you put things in like cardboard, glass and paper. The green bin is for grass clippings and plant materials. The red bin is for everything else that is garbage. Waste
