1 Tech Ed All About Computers By Ryan, Billy, Wayne, and Tyler 9/25/07

2 Blue tooth Blue tooth is a wireless communication used for wireless keyboards and mouse. Our group bought dell XPS 410 this is good because it is $150 and it comes with a wireless keyboard, dell Bluetooth wireless media hub and wireless mouse.

3 Hard Drive Is slow memory for the computer. But it has more file space. Our group bought the Dell XPS 410 this is a good hard drive because it holds 2 500 GB hrd drives.

4 W.I.F.I W.I.F.I is a way to get on the internet without an Ethernet cable. W.I.F.I stands for wireless fidelity.

5 Monitor A monitor is the computers screen. Monitor sizes range from form 14 inches too 35 inches Our group got the Dell Ultra Sharp 2707WFP 27-inch Widescreen Flat Panel LCD Monitor w/Height Adjustable Stand. This is a good monitor because it is a 27 inch monitor with adjustable stand and it is an LCD monitor

6 Speakers These speakers can be wire less or wired. Speakers are used to listen to music, sound on games, and DVD’s We got the Logitech G51 surround sound speaker system. This is a good purchase because they are complete wireless surround sound speakers

7 Printers The printer we chose was the Espon stylus Photo R280 printer. This is a good Printer because it is $100 and it is an all in one printer Which is really cheap for a 6 ink printer.

8 Video Ram Video Ram is where all the music and video files are stored. When you open video documents the files are moved here In the Dell XPS 410 it can hold 100 1.5 hour movies

9 Ram Ram is the fast memory for the computer. Most files are stored here. When you open files they are saved on ram. Our computer comes with 4 GB of Ram which should be sufficient to hold our files.

10 Scientific method There are 7 steps in the scientific method Ask a Question – this is a question to help focus the purpose for an investigation Form a hypothesis – this is when a possible explanation or answer is formed Test the hypothesis – this is when you test the hypothesis.

11 Scientific method continued Analyze results – after scientists finish the test they put their information and put it in tables and graphs. Drawing conclusions – after carefully analyzing their results scientists decide if their hypothesis is correct or incorrect if it is incorrect they must start the process all over again. If it is correct they will continue to the next step. Communicate results – After finishing their investigation this is when scientists share their results with other scientists.

12 The End This is the end of our power point. The total cost of our equipment was $3225.99. I hope you enjoyed the power point.
