Dr Jaki Lilly & Leonie Ramondt Findings: Student Survey 62% (n 57) students had personally encountered problems with teaching and learning situations which were specifically related to their needs as a disabled learner. 50% (n 28) said this was due to failure to supply lecture notes/ other materials in advance. A few dyslexic respondents found that some staff were 'suspicious that the condition did not exist or is not as limiting as put forward.
