Fingerspelling is used by fluent signers to communicate: Proper nouns Mark Twain, Hurst Specific English words great, fantastic, wonderful Words with no established sign notes, style, early Fingerspelling

3 Hold your hand to the side of your chest, not in front of your face.
Keep your palm out and your elbow down, close to your side. Don’t bounce, jerk or move your hand. Fingerspelling Rules

4 When fingerspelling 2 words together, just pause between words.
To spell double letters, re-form the letter or slide slightly to the right. Clarity and fluency are more important than speed. Fingerspelling Tips
