1 The Phantom Tollbooth

2 Chapter 1, 2, and 3 There once was a young man named Milo that could not make up his mind. When he was in school he wanted to be home but when he got home he wanted to be in school. One day he came home and there was a large tollbooth right in front of him. He wanted to see who sent it to him but it had no card. So Milo set out for a trip to see who sent it. But he never knew that it would be the most wildest trip he had ever been on. When Milo left out of his house to go on this wonderful adventure he found his self speeding on a street that was never heard of before, he was going to a place that was never heard of before, and all because of a tollbooth which came from nowhere. Milo meats a man named the whether man. Milo meats a watchdog named tock. He hates people that just waste time.

3 Chapters 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 When Milo and tock got to the market there were people selling words for money. They were selling ifs, buts, ands, and much more. Milo met 2 guys named the spelling bee and the humbug. They got into a big fight and Milo and tock went to jail. When they got out of jail there was a royal banquet. Milo picked what they ate at. When everyone left the king asked Milo and tock to rescue his sisters. Milo excepted. The humbug volunteered to help.

4 Chapters 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13 So as they set off for there wild adventure they came along a young boy that grows down instead of up. His name was Alec. They met a skinny man named the giant. He is the smallest giant in the world. Then they met a man named the midget, then the fat man, an last the thin man. They went into a city than no one knew were they were going because they had there head every last second of the day. They were now in a city were there was no color. They met a man named the doctor of dissonance and his pet the horrible dynne. They found a city were they could not speak. There were no sound. Milo saved there city by stealing all the sound from the sounds keeper. They were very grateful to Milo for doing so. 5 Chapters 14, and 15 They meat this thing called a dodecahedron. He is a math shape and tells Milo how long it takes to get to Digitopolis. When they get there, the dodecahedron leads them into a cave that mines for numbers. Milo meats the king’s brother that he does not get along with the Mathemagician. He tells Milo to walk up the steps that lead to infinity. When Milo came to find out that there was no end to the steps, he met a boy. The boy was only half of a body. Milo was very angry when he went back. They meat this thing called a dodecahedron. He is a math shape and tells Milo how long it takes to get to Digitopolis. 6 Chapters 16 and 17 While they were leaving they met one of the demons that the king was telling them about. The demon was a big dirty bird that told them all the wrong things. They had to ditch the demon really quick. As they were going up the hill, they met another demon but did not know it was a demon. He had no face and his name was the Terrible Trivium, demon of petty tasks and worthless jobs. They got away from him. While they were leaving they met one of the demons that the king was telling them about. The demon was a big dirty bird that told them all the wrong things. They had to ditch the demon really quick. As they were going up the hill, they met another demon but did not know it was a demon. He had no face and his name was the Terrible Trivium, demon of petty tasks and worthless jobs. They got away from him.

7 Chapter 18 All the demons got together to catch Milo, tock, and the humbug. There were at least 400,000 demons chasing them. They got to the castle were the sisters were at and they met a short man with ink all over his face. The man would not let them until they wrote there names on the list and filled out a survey. Finally they got into the castle were the sisters were at and they got them out but they were being wildly chased by demons.

8 Chapters 19 and 20 They got away from the demons and returned to digitopolis. The king and his brother gave many thanks to Milo as he left to go to his rightful home.
