2 Important Details Special referral program from13 Sep 2010 to 15 Oct 2010, all effective hires on boarded in 45 days from the offer date will be rewarded an additional special bonus award of INR 10000/- All referrals received during the period of the program will be considered for the scheme If the referral is unsuccessful during the period of the plan, it may be used for other openings under the regular referral policy for a period of 180 days from the date of initial referral During the program, if an applicant is referred from more than one source, E.g. from two employees, or an employee and from other sources, the deciding factor for ownership will be the earlier date of receipt of the referral. HR will inform the parties when such situations arise HR Staff, Team Managers, Hiring Managers, Practice Heads, C-Users are excluded from this program References of ex-employees, applying back in a years time frame will not be benefited under the referral program Validity of the referral profile is only for Six Months from the date of receipt

3 Program Guidelines Please send in all the CVs through e-recruitment tool and mail the resumes to recruiter (pradeep.chigurupati@sap.com) with the subject line of the job code( ref slide 4 )  Please note the following while referring a candidate. Refer profile (s) against the job code (s) only. In an event of error message after selecting the job code, Please select the Search (Option – India – Current Publication) and refer profile against the relevant job code. Referrals submitted to job codes other than the ones mentioned below will not be entitled in the EORO program. The profiles submitted should meet the requirement and expectations as displayed in the JD. Profiles not matching the job code/JD will not be considered and updates will not be processed

5 FAQ’s These are some of the questions that we got last year. Our responses are enclosed Q1: I referred many resumes but none of the referral candidates have been contacted by SAP GD ? A1: While we process the resumes which are relevant and contact the shortlisted candidates for interviews. The reason could be due to skill mismatch/ duplicate CVs/ Interviewed in the recent past / in some cases candidates were not interested, etc. Q2: The message in the E recruitment tool always says “ in process” and does not indicate further details. How do I know in what stage the CV is in? A2: As a process, we update the status of the application in the tool with details when a decision is made. However due to hiring tool access restriction/ limitations globally employees cannot view the detailed status. Q3: I referred good candidates but they were rejected by the technical panels. Why is that? Can we relook at them? A3: While we believe our employees refer good candidates to GDC, the reason could be due to skill mismatch for that particular position. In such cases wherever there is possibility we do relook at them for different positions. Only candidates meeting the essential qualifications for the positions will be considered. Candidates will be evaluated for employment consistent with the company’s policies and procedures Q4: When a candidate is rejected the system does not provide detailed information on the reasons? A4: As a process, we update the status of the application in the tool with details when a decision is made. However due to hiring tool access restriction/ limitations globally the employees cannot view the details status. To address this issue we started sending email communications to the referrer once a final decision is made. Q5: I referred a candidate in August last year and the same candidate is referred by someone else now and is accepted into the process. Why? A5: As per the referral policy, the validity of the resume is for a duration of six (6) months from the date of receipt. In this case, since it is already more than 6 months the resume is accepted in the process
