3 Introduction Project aim: “Scaling up Prevention, Care and Treatment to Combat the HIV/AIDS Pandemic in the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Sub-Region”Project aim: “Scaling up Prevention, Care and Treatment to Combat the HIV/AIDS Pandemic in the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Sub-Region” Duration of Project: 5-years - March 1, 2005 to February 28, 2010 Beneficiaries: 6 independent OECS Member States (sub recipients) Costs: Total cost of US$ 17.2m of which GFATM would make available US$8,898,744 as Grant funds With the OECS Secretariat serving as Principal Recipient
