4 Renewable or Non-Renewable? Hydroelectricity is a renewable energy source. This is because no matter how much you use hydroelectricity, you can still use it again and the water will not stop being usable.

6 +Advantages+  It is a renewable energy source.  It doesn’t contribute to global warming.  It doesn’t contribute to acid rain either.  It is cheap to run once built.  It is readily available (it will always be generating electricity).

7 -Disadvantages-  It can kill fishes.  It can destroy habitats of underwater life.  It can cause flooding.  It is unsightly.  It is expensive to build.  Few areas are suitable.  Often times the builders must destroy towns to build the dams.
