4 SLMS Catalog Search From the menu pagelet on the home page, select Search Catalog. 4

8 The catalog is organized by category. Click on the General Workplace Skills Category. 8

9 SLMS Browse Catalog After you click the General Workplace Skills link, another page will display the list of related subcategories as well as any Catalog Items associated to General Workplace Skills. You can scroll down the page to review them. Click the Communications link in the Related Categories section. 9

10 SLMS Browse Catalog Click the MBTI Leadership Program (n_GWS-ILT-008) link in the Catalog Items section. 10

11 SLMS Browse Catalog Some Catalog Items may not have any current Activities scheduled. In this case, the system will tell you that no Activities are available for the selected Catalog Item. To return, click the Browse Catalog link. 11

12 SLMS Catalog Search From the menu pagelet on the home page, select Search Catalog. 12

13 SLMS Catalog Basic Search From this page, you can search the Catalog by Activity, Catalog Item, Program, or all three. Click in the Search the Catalog field. 13

14 SLMS Catalog Search Enter “Ethics” into the search text box and click on the Search Activities button. The search function will return all the activities avail- able to you with the word “Ethics" in the title or the description. In addition, the searched word can be linked to a catalog item as a keyword, even though it is not in the title or description. 14

19 SLMS Enroll in Activity If no approval is required, you will receive a message telling you that you have successfully enrolled in the Activity. 19

21 SLMS Search for Programs Click the Programs search category. 21

22 SLMS Search for Programs Leave the search field blank and click the Search Programs button to bring up a list of all available Programs. 22

23 SLMS Search for Programs If there are Programs available for registration, they will appear on this page. You will be able to click on a Register link for that Program. 23

25 SLMS All Learning The All Learning page shows all of your learning activities. From here, you can view details about the Activity/Program or drop the Activity/Program. 25

26 SLMS Drop Activity Click the Drop button for the Activity or Program you wish to drop. 26

27 SLMS Drop Activity A new page will appear, asking if you are sure you want to drop the Activity or Program. Click the Drop button to finalize. 27

28 SLMS Drop Activity After clicking the Drop button, you will receive confirmation that you have successfully dropped the Activity or Program. 28

38 SLMS Learning Plans From the SLMS home page, click on Main Menu, then Self Service, Learning, and Learning Plans. 38

41 SLMS Learning Plans The Learning Plan Details page will appear. From this page you can view details of the items in your plan (if any) or you can add new learning to your plan, to be completed in the future. 41

43 SLMS Learning Plans Search the catalog for the activity you want to add to your learning plan. Enter the desired information into the Search the Catalog field, and click the Search Activities button. 43

46 SLMS Learning Plans You can now see the activity you want has been added to your Learning Plan. Click the Add New Learning to Plan link to continue. 46

50 SLMS Team Members From the Main Menu, navigate to Team Learning and click on the Team Members menu. 50

51 SLMS Team Members The Team Members page provides a list of all your direct reports. Click on a team member’s name for profile information. 51

53 SLMS Team Members Items pending manager approval will be listed in the Pending Approvals section. 53

59 SLMS Team Members Clicking on a checkbox will deselect a learner. Select the desired action from the drop-down list and click Go. We will not enroll the learners in this example. 59

60 SLMS Team Learning On the Team Learning page, managers can view a list of learning activities that their team members are enrolled in and programs for which they are registered. From the Main Menu, navigate to Team Learning and click on the Team Learning menu. 60

61 SLMS Team Learning Managers can also enroll and drop team members from learning activities and programs, or modify supplemental learning requests. 61

69 SLMS Team Learning Plans Notice that each team member automatically has a learning plan assigned called My Learning Plan. Neither you nor the team member can delete the default learning plan. 69

72 SLMS Team Learning Plans Following the same steps an individual learner would follow to add learning to a learning plan, click on the Add New Learning to Plan link. You will be guided to search the catalog to find programs, catalog items or activities to add to your team member’s plan. 72

75 SLMS Enrolling Team Members To search for and enroll team members in learning activities, catalog items, or programs, navigate to Team Learning and click on the Search Catalog menu. You can also browse the catalog to find learning for team members. 75
