6 Vetting & Updates All agencies and organizations are vetted by the lead agency in the county GraceCity has a licensing agreement with. Vetting Questions include: What type of organization is it? Non-Profit? For-Profit? County? Does the agency have general liability insurance? Who’s the carrier? Does the agency have a confidentiality policy? Does the agency serve human trafficking victims, at-risk, or both? Has the agency received in-depth human trafficking training? Is the agency a viable and reputable resource in the county? If so, why do they think so? All resources are updated, at a minimum every 6 months. Once agencies are live on the app, they can change their information at any time through the website for immediate updates.

7 Why does the Central Valley need GraceCity? Every year we spend thousands of dollars and waste hundreds of man hours to collect, organize, design, and distribute a physical or electronic version of some type of resource guide in our respective fields. The moment the information is disseminated, it already needs updating. The GraceCity development team took the same concept and designed a mobile app that can be updated in real-time while simultaneously resourcing thousands of first responders across the nation to respond to all forms of human trafficking. Agencies in our fields need to embrace modern mediums to help maximize efforts in fulfilling and strengthening our missions. Apps are the future. With 61% of American’s having a smartphone and growing, GraceCity is a unique and necessary resource in the fight against human trafficking!
