Community Manager / Editor for Danish self-publishing site Movellas.com Job responsibilities Help us manage the fast growing Movellas community to ensure that Movellas.com is always featuring exciting, engaging and surprising stories and writers on the front page. We need someone who can ensure that the site maintains the right tone of voice and that no inappropriate content is uploaded. To achieve that you will have to directly engage with the community of writers and readers. The right candidate will also be involved with external communication, take part in events to represent Movellas.com and help train teachers who wish to use Movellas in the classroom. Background of the candidate You must be passionate about writing and reading and have a good understanding for what makes good writing. We would expect you to have literature focused background. You could be a graduate or perhaps you studied journalism, languages or are a teacher. It is also necessarily that you understand how to engage with an online community. We engage with our users via our site, Facebook and Twitter. It is a requirement that you are a native Danish speaker. German, Spanish or French would be appreciated, but is not a requirement. Time, compensation and location The job is minimum 30 hours a week, but could be full-time for the right candidate. Compensation will depend on the candidate. You will be working in our head office in central London, but are expected to travel to Copenhagen once a quarter.
