4. Homework Policy Up to 50 minutes per night No homework = no recess until homework is finished Parent signatures not required for homework unless homework starts being a problem for any particular student

5. Grading Policy Homework completion counts towards 1 grade per marking period At least 9 grades per marking period Lowest grade in grade book is a 55% Writing will be graded at all times using state rubric (text-based and stand alone)

7. Cell Phone Policy No child in the Indian River School District is allowed to have a cell phone in their possession. (This is board policy, please see the policy in the school calendar.)

8. Dress Code Policy No flip-flops. Shorts and skirts need to be no higher than 2inches above the knee. **See the Indian River School District’s dress code policy in your school calendar.**
