3 Fold along all the horizontal lines.

4 Using a scissors carefully cut out the section.

5 Using a pencil draw in rocks below the flap you have just cut out.

6 Using a brown pencil crayon colour in the rocks.

7 Colour in the remaining water blue and the rock brown.

8 1 2 3 4 5 6 Hard Rock: This rock is resistant so over time a ledge develops. Waterfall: where the water tumbles over the ledge. Soft Rock: This is easier to erode. Gorge: The waterfall cuts its way up the valley. Fallen Rocks : When the ledge collapse it falls into the plunge pool. Plunge Pool: Here the debris speeds up erosion. You will now need a pen. Number the following features on your template.

9 Stick the waterfall to the end of the paper.

10 Open your book to a double page. Place the model over the centre of the page. Glue the base to the right page and the back to the left page.

11 Give your diagram the title Waterfall. Provide a date.
