2 An adjective modifies a noun or a pronoun by describing, identifying, or quantifying words. An adjective usually precedes the noun or the pronoun which it modifies.

3 Possessive Adjectives- It is used with nouns to show possession or ownership. Demonstrative Adjectives- It shows whether the noun they refer to is singular or plural and whether it is located near to or far from the speaker or writer. Interrogative Adjectives- The interrogative adjectives what, which, and whose modify nouns and pronouns to indicate a question about them Proper Adjectives-Adjectives derived from proper names are called proper adjectives. They are easily recognizable in that they are always capitalized. Ordinal Adjectives- An ordinal adjective indicates the position of a noun in a series. Indefinite Adjectives- Indefinite adjectives are indefinite pronouns used before a noun.
