2 Red Connotations:  Red is extremely dominating  Red reflects energy  It represents all things intense and passionate. Synonyms:  excitement, danger, passion, love, aggression, heat

3 Pink Connotation:  Represents romance and the sense of caring Synonyms:  beauty, sweetness, feminine, delicacy, non-violent.

4 Orange Connotation:  Most stable and reassuring of the earth tones, a pleasant warm color.  Determination and demanding of attention. Synonym:  warmth, creativity, joy, extroverted

5 Yellow Connotation:  Sensations of brightness and warmth.  People who like yellow are generally perfectionists by nature. Synonym:  imaginative, spiritual, optimism, light, happiness and energy.

6 White Connotation:  White represents life  Represents marriage in western cultures, but death in the Chinese culture.  People who prefer white tend to be neat Synonym:  Purity, bright, peace, humility, innocence, birth, snow, spirituality

7 Green Connotation:  Brings feelings of hope.  People who like green are usually balanced and with high moral values Synonym:  Health, calm, life, faith, nature, good luck, abundance and generosity.

8 Blue Connotation:  Most calming color, evokes peaceful feelings.  It is regarded as therapeutic to the mind and body. Synonym:  Trust, wisdom, quiet, patience, peace, loyalty, security, sky, water

9 Purple Connotation:  Considered a 'spiritual' color, aura of mystery and intrigue  Society see it as a powerful and sophisticated color. Synonym:  Independence, creativity, wisdom, royalty, dignity

10 Black Connotation:  Mostly negative  Associated with criminal activities and black magic Synonym:  Power, elegance, formality, unhappiness, mourning, death (western culture), mysterious

11 Grey Connotation:  Combination of black and white and is the most neutral of all the shades  Can also signify psychologically gloominess  People who like Grey tend to be neutral about life. Synonym:  Maturity, reliability, conservative, intelligence, sadness, modesty

12 Brown Connotation:  Neutral and sometimes a warm color.  People who like Brown are generally and reliable characters with a sense of responsibility and duty. Synonym:  Strength, maturity, stability, comfort, home and earth.
